In the UK. They gave us "help" people but they pretty much ignored all of us throughout the entire thing. I contacted them a lot throughout the beginning to try and see if they could give me any sort of help but they said they could put me on the waiting list for after the case (which I was told could be any time, ended up being over a year). They told the police that they tried to contact me via text and left voicemails but I never replied. I don't have a voicemail. I received no texts. They definitely had my number. They even called me on my number after the court case to see if I wanted any help now that it's over. I have absolutely 0 trust in them and have decided to go elsewhere. During the time waiting for the case to be over, all of us were told we weren't allowed to receive counselling.

"Tampering with evidence", please, I'm a fucking person. I was suicidal, counselling would have stopped that. Surely it would be better for them if I was alive and able to stand up in court. Just makes me sad that if someone wasn't as strong as I was (and I wasn't even that strong), they wouldn't have made it through.
