Another one - SmartRazor Kickstarter

From the comments:

midas89 about 15 hours ago First, here at KS, there was the Skarp Razor, promising to cut hair with a laser. Then came the Sapphire Razor, promising a blade that lasted 6 months or more. (As everyone knows, Skarp was thrown out of KS, and is currently hitting backers at Indiegogo with delay after delay, giving folks very little optimism for a successful product. And Sapphire Razor failed at KS twice.) Now here we have the latest razor, the SmartRazor, promising to cut hair with heated blades. Sounds wonderful, as did the two razors above. Please let me express my thoughts, keeping in mind many others might feel the same. You are asking people to part with/gamble a minimum of $69 for something that is at least approx. 13 months away. A long time. (And with the way so many KS campaigns go, there is a good shot the November 2017 ship date will not be met.) You are only asking for $95,000 here at KS, of which you won't even clear after KS gets its money, of course. This has to be questioned. Clearly someone with an idea as spectacular as yours could get a financier to invest such a relatively small amount for something that could revolutionize shaving and be guaranteed to sell millions and millions worldwide, assuming your claims about shaving with heated blades are true. Heck, you could easily sell your patents to Gillette, etc., for so much money and a cut of every razor sold if you proved your claims. Yes, you might not want to part with the control or the extra profit you'd make by selling this yourself. But the point is, if Gillette, etc., would pay for this technology, I guarantee you an angel investor group or individual investor would gladly give you your $95,000 in a second. So, you can understand any skepticism and/or fear here from people at KS, especially considering the two prior Razor campaigns mentioned above, which are still very fresh in the mind. Don't get me wrong. If your heated razor truly works as advertised, I'd buy it in a second. So please get the success with this and be a razor hero to the world. Good luck!
