It's incredibly unlikely. As you might say, "'If you come for the king, you best not miss". Russian elite didn't get to be elites in Russia by having scruples or by being the type of person to fire warning shots. If they were displeased with Putin, the first he would know of it was either when the knife went into his back or the FSB caught the guy trying to plant it there. He's not someone where they'd fuck around and kill his allies to "send a message".

There is a near 100% chance that every single one of those deaths was not only known about by Putin, but directly signed off on by him. The only exception might be a couple of actual suicides worked into the mix. He's killing detractors, rivals or people he thinks are trying to cut and run.
