I don;t think i saw a rollback but i did experiance the lag three diff times last night 15-30 minute spikes where my entire psn party was unable to interact with anything or fight back dinos who still seemed to do damage in real time, kill you then hold you unable to interact until your gear despawns. The guy who does the servers literally told me they don't need to do maintenance which is a lie. here's the quote

"3) We don't regularly do server maintenance on PS4 because the hardware we use is currently the best available from our host provider minus small tweaks such as memory or storage increases (both of which are not necessary at this time). PS4 has the newest hardware since it's the most recent release whereas PC and Xbox (mostly PC) have some scheduled maintenance to upgrade from older legacy hardware, which we typically announce on our forums and via in-game message. The only "maintenance" we currently have for PS4 is when we deploy patches, which is roughly once a month and is announced prior. Again, if you are having issues with a server please report them using the appropriate methods and if an issue is found, it will be taken care of at the earliest possible time."

I'm not aware of any system which can run smoothly without regular maintenance and this is obviously the issue.
