ANT sideboarding help

Original Posters Edited Update: After reviewing your many generous comments, I made a few changes and I want them to be open to discussion. Not only for my benefit, but for other storm players as well. Also, before I begin, I want to take the opportunity to thank all of your for your time and input and know that I really appreciate every comment.

New Items:

  • I recently acquired my second underground sea, therefore fixing my manabase (see below). The inclusion of gemstone mine in my manabase raises a series of questions. One, should I run another land (like a fetchland) instead of the mine? Or is the mine's color versatility worth its position? More importantly, should I cut the land all together in favor of another maindeck card? (Keep in mind, I will never own Grim tutor, it would likely be a 4th cabal therapy or duress).

  • I also made some changes to my sideboard. I will go back and comment on everyone's individual responses, but I wanted an updated list before I did.

New Sideboard:

3 abrupt decay

2 carpet of flowers

2 xantid swarm

2 chain of vapor

1 empty the warrens (lordoftheshadows I will explain in my comments- it is mainly an ad nauseum replacement against tempo decks)

2 massacre (explained in TheScynic thread)

1 Dread of Night

2 surgical extractions

1 flusterstorm (I realize this is card number 16. I am not entirely sure if I want this card yet. I would board it in against the mirror, show and tell and omnitell (prevents me from losing against a lucky topdeck, surprise factor and offers pseudo protection)

New manabase: 4 polluted delta

4 scalding tarn

1 Island

1 Swamp

2 underground sea (finally)

1 volcanic island

1 Tropical island

1 gemstone mine (Discussion above)
