I hope you can see that one autist speaking to another about some traits we might have in common doesn't mean that I said or implied anything whatsoever about presumed neurotypicals. I know from experience what convertitis is, and I know that my autism contributed to it. I trust you realize how cartoonish monarchism looks to people from other jurisdictions, and to some Russians as well.
Does that mean that all monarchists are displaying autistic traits? No. Autism is a neurodevelopmental disorder with certain characteristic features, but people can independently arrive at similar ways of thinking or similar conclusions.
I also don't think autistic people need to be second-guessed on all of their convictions. Autistic people can be very self-aware and have well thought-out opinions. I have no evidence that you're one of them, but you could be.
Do you have any data for how many of our contemporaries actually want or expect a return to tsarism? I don't and am not going to just blindly accept that they're in the millions.
It's irrelevant that Russian bishops in the 1930s would have wanted a recently dismantled system of government to be restored. Of course they did. Communism was a disaster for the Church. However, we are now a century further along, and for all I know, Russian Orthodox Christians with dreams of national greatness and the continued resurgence of the Church are perfectly content with Putinism.
I share your interest in Father Seraphim Rose and will read the article you linked. However, I'd like to point out that it seems you're saying "our priests and bishops", "our elders and saints" as though that means all of them. It most certainly is not all of them, and I have no reason to think that it's even a majority. Also, a person can be a saint without having all of their alleged predictions come true. I take that stuff with a large grain of salt. Tall tales are told and saints aren't necessarily prophets.
I'm not going to say anything further here, as it probably would belong under the politics megathread.
