Anthony blamed Obama for yesterday's attack in Paris.

Try to remember the guy has to fill hours of podcast a week, like Ron does on satellite, largely alone. You're going to go astray into some weird areas when you talk about things so long, because your thoughts aren't concrete, you're trying to fill time on a subject...ya can't have dead air.

No one--no one--is well educated enough to go on extemporaneously about any random subject, everyday, and not say some things that aren't hypocritical, mean, naive, biased, etc.

Have you ever had a friend, a relative, you've known from years suddenly start commentary about something and immediately you're just like "Yuck"? It happens from time to time that people disagree or spout off shit they don't know much about.

Historically, there's some evidence that a "weak president" will not respond militarily or decisively in a crisis, and this can embolden the "enemy." I don't think this has much to do with being D or R, but more in their fundamental stance on international wars/embargoes/power-positioning/world-finance, and the things they are told by other bits of the government and their own people.

The President isn't a scary figure setup to scare terrorists, nor someone that may have some timidity on certain international issues conflate to the actions of others the "bad guys." There are three branches of the government, and the President just executes on-top of one of them.

Ant has his crutches like anyone else. He does have a somewhat relevant point that in the eye of the world, Obama is a little young on the scene. Which is sort of like a substitute teacher on the scene, but I think by now he's earned some respect as a President, even though I disagree with almost every major view he espouses. I think he's a great politician at spinning things, which can be useful, he defends the country with good intent, and he protects the people. But his idealist policies are unrealistic and he's contributing to the sluggish, bulky nature of the Federal Government. Instead of getting rid of outdated policies and laws, he has continued to add more. I wouldn't suggest that because of that behavior he can't handle foreign policy decisions... he did make the call on Bin Laden didn't he?
