my mom is like that (i wasn't allowed to get the flu shot for a long time bc she didnt think it had enough research, and i didnt get the HPV vax bc of a lawsuit when i was little) and no one judges her for it. although i kinda wish they would so she'd have realized she was wrong. they are genuine concerns, and i dont think parents should just blindly follow doctor's orders. definitely do your thorough research. if a lawsuit makes you be against a vaccine thats been repeatedly tested, peer reviewed, and FDA approved, i doubt youre doing that. but if there was more stigma against that sort of thing, those people would likely be convinced to go ahead and get all the vaccinations
