Anxiety attacks, crying all week, and feeling guilty as shit for not finishing assignments. This is the email my professor sent me.

This is nice of the professor..

But to be real, they are doing you a disservice. You don’t learn from getting freebies. The most learning in my life has come from taking L’s. This is where growth happens.

I’ve had professors like this, typically in general elective humanities classes. In STEM this shit never flies. You either get it done or you don’t, your either right or your wrong.

This will probably be downvoted but holding someone’s hand too much only hurts them further in the long run.

You need to learn to be responsible for your actions and understand the real consequences of the choices you make, regardless to how stressful the times are.

Unpopular opinion but the truth is sometimes a bitter pill.
