Any advancement from PC technician?

Absolutely. Double decker bus rule mate -

You'll have two jobs come along when you're in a job, but you'll miss two when you're out.

Anecdotal experience aside, you can build on this as a platform for your next job. As another poster has mentioned, look at your target and work backwards - however whilst doing so it's worthwhile getting your hands dirty and deciding if this is what you want to do and where you want to take it.

Along the way seize any opportunity to learn and use this to springboard yourself into jobs closer to your ultimate goal.

Your endpoint may change along the way and it might not progress as much as you want, but if you apply yourself and keep expanding your knowledge you can accomplish your goals.

Hope I've not been too soppy or pretentious but just wanted to share some positivity and wisdom I wish someone gave me when I started out.

Good luck OP.
