I'm guessing your lids become more hidden than this when looking straight forward instead of slightly downward like you are here in these photos? Take an eyeliner or small smudge brush and push any color of matte shadow into your lash lines, as thinly as possible.

I find that style of liner the most flattering on my eyeshape because it doesn't take up what little lid space I have and I don't have to worry about transfer/smearing like I get with all pencil/gel/some liquid liners.

If you want to do more of a classic wing or cat eye I recommend searching for liner tutorials for hooded and deepset eyes on YouTube. Watch as many as you can find and practice all the advice to figure out what works for your exact eye shape and what doesn't. I'm not a huge fan of this type of liner on me because while you can get it to look relatively normal with your eyes open and looking straight forward, I personally really dislike how it looks when my eyes are closed (either really thick, or bizarrely shaped so that it works around/over my hood).
