I’m an 18 y/o male that has been having acne issues since middle school. I’m currently taking Keflex 500mg twice a day, and have been on 0.01% tret for >1 year.

I’ve gotten less whiteheads since starting Keflex three months ago, however the redness hasn’t faded at all and I’m worried tret hasn’t been doing it’s job or something that I’m doing is messing with the tret proceeds. The area right below my nose has also been red for a very long time (beginning of winter) and I’m not sure if I need to lay off or tret or apply more sunscreen. Routine is below, and thanks for the help.

Morning:

Wash face

CeraVe Facial Moisturizing Lotion 30 SPF (6 months)

Night:

Wash face

CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser (1 year)

Tret 0.01%

(wait ~15 minutes)
