Any black girl gamers here?..

The problem is this:

You brand a movie like the expendables, you're gonna get mostly guys

You brand a move like sex in the city, you're gonna get mostly girls

(Before you start shouting at me notice the mostly, kthx)

The tech industry as well as gaming has been mostly towards guys so guys are more likely to be attracted towards it. And those showing an interest in gaming are often scared away by idiots who think you need a penis to play games. My personal opinion is that there's not really a point in trying to force diversity. I always see talk about representation of different groups but I don't personally get it. I've never given a crap who I play games with or who's on my team to create a program.

And before you say I'm just being racist here. It goes 2 ways. I used to date a Colombian who said I was "too white for spicy food" even though I've loved spicy food my entire life. (Pretty obvious why I ended things) White people don't hold an exclusive right on racism. I've noticed first hand when going to places that aren't dominated by white people. Racism is done by all races and is a person thing, not a race thing. A lot of tech has been developed in white and Asian male dominated countries so naturally the industry will be dominated by those people. I'm personally not a fan of focusing on peoples gender and race in the first place.

I think it's dumb, just be who you are, do what you love and let others be who they are and do what they love.

If you're a black female who loves gaming then just play games. If you're an Asian girl who loves playing football then screw people who tell you not to, play football. My only wish is that society would think this way.
