Any CPU recommendations?

Have you been living under a rock someplace?

Even if your not a fan of Intel [They have the best gaming CPUs yet people keep buying AMD's for some silly reason to play games.]

AMD just came out with the new Ryzen CPU. Why in the world would you buy decade old tech that is the AMD FX series?

Also, if you don't want to spend 300 bucks on the 8 new Ryzen CPUs. The 6 cores/12 thread CPU's that cost 200 bucks are coming out in weeks:

Far as the "best" gaming CPU for the money goes. That's easy. Intel Core i5-7600K Kaby Lake Quad-Core 3.8 GHz

Get that I5 K and overclock it. Games don't benefit from hyperthreading. They just need better single thread possible "IPC" Getting Intel I5 and Overclocking it to the max will get you best possible FPS.

Also, heads up: intel is going to come out with new CPU family in late 2017. Because of AMD Ryzen, all future I5/I7's coming out will have 6 cores vs the current number of 4. So you're in middle of a new CPU war with new tech coming out left and right this year.
