Any DnD podcasts anywhere near as good as TAZ?

Dungeon Rats is amazing! - This is definitely the funniest D&D podcast I've heard that isn't TAZ.

A few suggestions for starting this series:

  1. The introduction from the DM who adds crazy amounts of emphasis with volume is difficult to listen to but this is a D&D campaign that is already in motion, so the information is reasonably important. You probably want to skip this so here is a synopsis: The adventuring party is stuck in the endless dungeon after having murdered a noble family. He does a role call for all the characters, but they don't use their real names for this first adventure so don't even worry about it. Also, the premise of this podcast is that the encounters are all submitted by users. If you want the whole schpiel, you can read it here. I nearly turned the podcast off due to the audio punishment of the intro.

  2. You aren't going to know who the characters are very well. They do not do a good job of "making good radio" by introducing themselves. They do an exceptional job at roleplay and comedy, but this is a campaign that is well on it's way. My suggestion is just to not worry about it as the characterization starts to fill in the characters fairly quickly.
