Any Doctors here practicing with an autoimmune disease?

I've got RA (...well maybe actually psoriatic arthritis). Just an M2 so I can't really say how M3/4 and residency will treat me, but I think it'll be doable. I've been pretty stable on an anti-TNF for something like 6 years now. Occasionally will take some prednisone if I feel particularly crappy. Beyond maybe ruling out surgery, I don't think the disease will impact my career significantly. I know of a couple doctors who practice with things like lupus and RA. They have their bad days for sure, but they managed to get through residency and have fairly fulfilling careers.

Also worth noting that a strong family history of autoimmune disease doesn't necessarily mean you'll get one. I don't think it's anything worth worrying about right now.
