Almost 6 years ago, I joined a rather small, maybe 20 person at most Minecraft server I found on one of those old server list sites. Joined the same time as another dude, and we both went off on our own merry way. I just started to build the foundations of a base when all of a sudden someone in full diamond armor with a diamond sword came through, killed me, and took all my stuff. I was shook. So I try again. I find a nice cozy spot, and start mining. But again, as I reach the surface, he comes sauntering in and absolutely rapes me. When I spawn back, the dude who joined at about the same time was also there, and also having trouble with the griefer. So we waited for him to log off, and both went off together, as far away as we could. We built the biggest, most badass underground complex, and eventually came to defeat the giefer. We play games with each other pretty much every night now, and have flown across the country multiple times a year to hang out. Honestly it's one of the strongest friendships I have, all because of an asshole.
