Have any of you had to end a friendship with a female best friend? If so, did the relationship ever go back to how it was?

I'll probably get shit for this, but my BF and his best female friend stopped talking... because of me.

She admitted she had feelings for him about 6 months before I met him. He told me this after he introduced us, to make it less weird, and when we were introduced, she scoffed at me, ignored me the rest of the night and tried to make him jealous by making out with a random guy at the bar (according to his friends). So yeah, that made me pretty peeved. They'd text about random stuff here and there after that, but I wasn't concerned. Then she started texting him about how she was struggling with her ex, seeking emotional support, and again, I got peeved.

A few months later we were out again with friends and saw her. She didn't even say "hi" to us. She blocked him on everything after that night and then spread rumors about how I was "jealous" and drove them a part. Cool. To be fair, I never told him he "couldn't keep her as a friend", I just let this whole thing unfold and implode on it's own.

He has other female friends who are awesome, but none that were as close as they were. I felt bad at first, but then realized how crappy of a friend she was and didn't feel bad about it anymore.
