Any news on them suspending evictions?

Have you not heard that tons of people are being sent home from work? The vast majority of hourly workers don't get anything when they don't work.

No, I haven’t. I don’t think we’re there yet. As far as I’m aware, most of the people being asked to work from home this far are people whose work is largely unaffected by working from home.

I haven’t seen any closed bars, restaurants, or really anything other than some events shut down. I’m sure this will change over the coming weeks.

My point was that I doubt that OP is in a where they ‘can’t pay their rent’ because of the Coronavirus. My guess is that they would have likely been in this situation either way. I’m all for being sympathetic to people’s troubles..

your company isn't getting many orders because other companies are getting skittish with their cash then the boss doesn't keep all those assembly floor workers sitting around paid to do nothing. Or for example you work large events and the government just made your job virtually illegal.

Tbh I’ll probably make more money because of this situation. So I’m not really in a similar boat. I’m just not cool with people claiming that they have been so dramatically affected when this is just beginning. We’re going to see much worse.
