• Jobs related to finance, tech

Cons:

• Cost of living
• Jobs only related to finance, tech pay well enough to stay
• Winter / lack of sunlight does suck
• People are polite, but not welcoming
• Socioeconomic issues becoming more apparent
• IDGAF / I got mine / NIMBY attitude

I’m in fintech and doing ok financially, but seriously debating whether or not to leave in 2023. Affordability is absurd and even all the 6-figure people I know are stuck in 1-bed condos - their savings rate can’t catch up with house appreciation to build a large enough down payment.

I’m looking to transfer to either a U.S. or EU office.
