Do any of you procrastinate hard on a project until the very last second of the due date and you somehow manage to complete it all?

"the long way round" is a very good way to put life with ADHD. It sounds like you are doing well and will end up at a great place - I kind of had the same and got a good career but everything was way harder than it should have been. Kind of half-assed my bachelors degree and then did a research masters thesis instead of a PhD. Should really have been studying medicine anyway if my school exam results had been the level I am capable of.

If I had been able to at least recognise what was going on and put some coping strategies in place I could have cut out a lot of time and anxiety.

Ironically I do really well at work because I can power through urgent tasks and produce high quality output. I also have a military side-career that wouldn't have been open to me if I'd been diagnosed with ADHD as a child.
