Any routers that don't have the DSCP issue with Comcast?

You bought them a crappy, outdated, slow router and you're wondering why the wifi is slow? Come on now.

Are you saying the Netgear N600 can only handle 20 Mbs WiFi? It says on the box 300 + 300 Mbs. I know it's not the latest and greatest, but I have been using it myself the last few years and it's been just fine as a wired router for my workstation here at home. I have tested mine for WiFi speed, and it seems to have the same issue as the new one, but I have never noticed because I use mainly wired connection for my work. My neighbors will be mostly wireless. I might have agreed with you that it's simply that this is an old, out of date router, until I found articles like the ones I linked in the OP, which suggest there is something else going on here related to the Open Source code which is in most of these routers that are based on the Broadcom chipset. I was just wondering if others here were aware of this issue, and knew of other routers that don't experience the wifi slowdown on Comcast's network.
