Any success relationship stories between a vegetarian and non-vegetarian?

I have a non-veg wife and we get along just fine, but we are pretty tolerant of each other - when she cooks, she often prepares meat and I just ignore it, and she always makes something without meat in it for me (or I just cook up something on the side for myself). When I am cooking, we eat vegetarian and she’s fine with that. “Live and let live” is a big component of a successful partnership and if you don’t have that it’s much harder.

In your particular case, if your partner really “cannot stand” any type of meat cooked in the house and is not able or willing to accommodate you, and you are not willing to change your diet, I really don’t see how you can cohabitate and expect to maintain a good relationship.
