Any suggestions? Buying a fiesta

actually ima downvote cause half of this reply is bullshit forum nonsense. understandable cause so few do their homework on things they hear.

what he IS right on is standard canned cleaners indeed wont work, you gotta use inductive cleaning which ford doesn't recommend.

the transmission issues are from the non-ST cvt auto which is garbage, and the clutch issues are due to driver habits.

ive tracked my car in 100+ temps and it doesnt overheat, blasting the ac on the start and warm up laps. lot of those issues are people fucking up their mix of water wetter or letting the coolant get low. theyre stock MHG so they'll slowly go thru coolant, gotta keep an eye on the level. also, just use the stock coolant. its already a HOAT so it works just as well as the electrolyte solutions. they were definitely better back in the days of green glycol antifreeze, but the new stuff is a lot more thermally conductive

i get 29mpg most of the time, but if you city drive it all the time youre likely to see about 22 depending on how your self control is. if you've got a model used and its only hitting 25 max, theres a good chance someone put a canned tune on it. may or may not be worth more power, but pretty much all of them lose a lot of gas mileage.
