Any suggestions for natural pmdd remedies? Vitamins?

Hey there!

So I'm going to give my current remedies to you first. I've tried a lot in the past 5 years I've known about PMDD.

Right now, I try to take 2,000 iu vitamin D on days I get outside, and 3,00O in the winter or days I'm stuck inside. On my "off" days I'll take 200-300 mg of L-Theanine once or twice a day for the panic and anxiety especially to offset the bunch of caffeine I take for the depression. I'll say I have about 150 mg of caffeine at a time but that's just an estimate. I still haven't quite found out something to help for the aggression except just telling whatever/whoever is bothering me to give me a minute alone, but that's not always possible. I will say: I've had a bunch of life changes and I've gained about 25 pounds in the last 5 months so everything is different and worse when I hit my bad weeks. I also smoke a bit of green if you know what I mean when I'm really stuck but I'm not sure how much of a feasible option that is for you. I also limit alcohol the two weeks after I ovulate until I get my friend, but that's REALLY hard because alcohol always makes you feel better in the moment but makes everything SO MUCH WORSE afterwards.

In the past, when I was working out at least 4 days a week for 45 (vigorous) minutes, on birth control, and taking 1,000 mg evening primrose oil every day and that seemed to keep it under pretty decent control.

I tried a generic version of Zoloft for a bit but it seemed to make my panic attacks worse during the hell-half of the month.

I think eating clean, exercise, supplements like evening primrose oil, maca root, Vitex ( I haven't tried that but I've heard good things), L-theanine, and getting sunshine ( as much as you can- I know on my worst days the sun literally hurts) are all ways to naturally handle PMDD until science catches up and people recognize it as a legitimate disorder.

Good luck!! Hope some of this helps :)
