Any tips for a newbie PSVR user?

  • start with games with no first person walking (yes: Beat Saber and Superhot, no: Skyrim and Resident Evil 7)
  • when you start getting used to vr (at first it can be intense for your brain), then you should take the time to get your vr legs. To do this play a first person walking game with no comfort settings. Stop immediately if you feel the slightest bit dizzy. No more vr. Do it again he next. You will build up your tolerance and be able to play more and longer with no motion sickness symptoms until you are adventuring in Skyrim for hours.
  • there are sitting games where you are mostly looking down like Moss and there are standing games where you need to be able to reach your Moves over your head or down to the floor. As such, there is no one perfect place to put your camera if you want great tracking. PSVR has a learning curve to setup your play space in terms of lighting and camera placement. Be open to trying different things (playing in low lighting, moving the camera to different positions depending on the game types)
