Any tips for trying to convince my parents to let me remove the hijab?

I was going to give you and advice, then I decided otherwise when I read your second post. You think you should not be wearing hijab, thats good. But if you cannot even defend your rights how can you expect to be a feminist? I do not care if you become an atheist, even for such silly reasoning, yet I do care about hypocrisy. You are basically telling that you will lie to your parents so you can get their money until you can finish your education.

In my country, some people leave house to an uncertain future when they cannot get along with their parents, they do not lie to their faces. You are already 20 years old, I do not care about your beliefs. Live your life, find your way.

As for your beliefs, since you gave (much more than required) info on them: faith is about you, not about them. You are fixated on people who are muslims and who are atheists. Read the Quran, or don't, and make you choice based on your own thoughts not some stolen ones. And remember, there are muslim feminists too.
