The thing I'm fearful of is that Amazon won't see the show through to the end.

They cancelled The Expanse after season 6, two thirds into the book arc (only 4-6 were done through them). So there is precedent. I don't know how fast they want to go through The Wheel Of Time but they'd probably need at least 7 seasons.

At this point, there's not a single streaming service I trust to keep a single title on for 7 seasons, except for maybe Disney+ with one of their Star Wars / Marvel powerhouse shows (which both of course also have the advantage of being set in a bigger universe, so both can continue plots in other shows). Anything else is continuously on thin ice, in my eyes.
