Anybody else’s Gotcha Evolve not spinning stops?

Since you deleted your post I am going to assume you figured this out already but to anyone who has this issue here is my troubleshooting steps when it happens to me (I own a gotcha ranger so ymmv)

1) in game, click the pokeball -> settings -> scroll down to Pokemon Go Plus and make sure "nearby pokestop" is checked.

2) on the gotcha you can also set it to spin or not spin stops. Just tap the screen until the prompt for pokestops comes up and hold down the button to reactivate it (mine often gets pressed accidentally in my pocket so I've had this be an issue many times, might be the case here as well)

3) unpair the gotcha in game and then set it up again (follow step 1 to reach the pokemon go plus menu. There will be a little eject icon looking thing next to your "pokemon go plus" in available devices to unpair it. Then, in my experience at least, you will need to close the app and relaunch it. Go back to the go plus section of settings, press the pair button on your gotcha and it will reappear once the game detects it. Tap on it in pokemon go's settings menu to sync it back)

4) just be patient. The gotcha will catch every pokemon in range prior to spinning stops so if there are pokemon everywhere it just may seem like it isnt hitting stops. On days like community days when things are also lured I have seen it be unable to keep up with wild spawns to where it just never gets to spinning stops. In that case you can use either steps 1 or 2 to set it to ignore wild spawns or just manually spin the stops yourself.
