Has anybody ever successfully created a team here? And what's with all these game projects?

I'm currently working together with another. Seems like a promising team to me.

My game is probably more ambitious than one should start off with, but my idea is solid and extensive with a small number of fans simply from talking about it. But it's definitely gonna take its efforts. And this is why I am working with another because I know that alone I likely wouldn't get anywhere solid. I can't wait to show off the finished product eventually.

I don't think we need higher standards. I think we need more supportive but educational comments. There's a lot of tearing down people who mostly are just young folk with a passion. Many are here not being professionals and only barely getting started. It's useless to completely wreck those dreams.

Better to friendily give pointers as to what to do to get a team and finish one's product. Even if together they finish the worst game ever, it's experience that can help them get to a better place.
