Anybody notice that comments on YouTube videos about hk protests are practically ALL wumao?

Although many are wumao some are genuinely hypernationalists. The same way the west has a segment of toxic gamer/internet culture China has a huge internet culture that is simply hypernationalist. When everything you hear from the news, the media, education, those around you etc is one sided and from official mouthpieces how do you expect people to think? Century of humiliation and Chinese exceptionalism is ingrained in people’s psyche. I’ve never met a more nationalist group of people nor a more quick to get insulted and defensive about their country than the Chinese. When people criticize anything about an aspect of China whether it be policy, politics, historical happenings etc, they ALWAYS resort to saying “this is an INSULT TO CHINA”. Take that swimmer who doped for example and the Australian that refuses to recognize him. The swimmer literally said “you could insult me but don’t insult China” seriously dude ?
