AnygryJoe just reuploaded the same review for Part 1.

Isn’t there some kind of value in channeling people’s collective rage at a video game they don’t like? I haven’t always been the biggest fan of Joe’s takes over the years (TLOU2 for example), but he’s continued to make me laugh and also be a voice of reason (even if it is expressed as anger) when discussing games that are either well received but have serious flaws or try to milk the consumer for as much money as possible while trying to provide as little content as possible in the actual game.

Another point I think I should mention is that you can’t take the bad apples from Joe’s viewership and try to project that onto him or the other people who watch him. You may say there’s a reason that “bigoted” people watch his videos, but I would argue there is no other reason besides him occasionally calling out SJW culture in games and people latching onto that with their more extreme views to try to find a platform to express their anger.

Has some of the points Joe argued in the past contributed to hatered and bigotry? Maybe, and maybe he can be blamed for that for the way he’s gone about expressing some of his views. Is it Joe’s intention to contribute to hatered and bigotry? Clearly not, and he has said as much in his videos many times. Besides the vocal minority of people who leave comments on his YouTube channel, I think I can safely say many, many more people agree even with his more controversial views and yet still don’t think transgender people shouldn’t be in games (or ruin them if they are) or only white people have to be in shows where traditionally there were only white people.
