Anyone have any estate sale company recommedations? Any advice?

I can understand that, for sure. My dad was a pretty grouchy dude and kept saying he didn't care about any of the stuff at all and didn't care what we did with in the weeks leading up to his move. But, when he saw people carrying all his stuff out of the house, he sort of flipped his shit and started picking through bags and boxes for random items yelling about how someone would give him $1 for this or that, etc...

It wasn't fun, but I don't think it was ever going to be fun. I've definitely wished I'd been a bit more careful with the whole process, looking back, but I don't think the outcome would have been more positive for anyone and had we tried to sell all the stuff, we would likely have spent weeks to make like $200.

Here's a thought, is there a social worker (or equivalent position) at the nursing home you've been in contact with? They might have people who buy home contents on file or something.
