Anyone around that detransitioned solely based off appearance and inability to pass?

it may be possible to make some adjustments to HRT, which might help with results.

Here is a powerpoint by a practitioner with over 1000 trans clients who said he had some results after adding bioidentical progesterone, even with people after years :

( from p. 29 on )

Adding it too early may stun some breast growth but after a few months it may help with additional fat redistribution etc.

In general a few things from here might help :

And a part of HRT is still unchartered territory so it may be necessary to try out a few things until they work.

Those might help :

Many people try to switch to injections eventually. It may also suppress t on its own. It was the only way of HRT around for decades and is well proven. It may help avoid side effects from anti androgens. Spiro for example can make for raised levels of Cortisol after a few months, which can block some fat redistribution.

Many people also feel better on hormones of the gender they identify with so alone for this HRT may be worth it.

Looking for support, like from support groups, lgbt places or PFLAG, and connecting to other trans people may also be a good idea. I'd say just try to look for positive people. There may be people with similar experiences.

There may also be meetups etc., and there may be places where queer people meet. It may be possible to make a few friends there.

And a supportive gender therapist may also be helpful.
