Anyone develop an issue where they can't enjoy a video game for very long as they get older?

*raises hand*

Totally dude! I grew up from a poor family and as a kid (around 10 years old) I used to walk around my city picking up cans w/ my younger brother in our city, offer to wash my parents car and go look for loose change in the couch so that I can buy a $75 Super Nintendo game. I remember having long gaming session w/ Chrono Trigger, FF6, Super Street Fighter, MK2 and would enjoy every second of it. Now that I can afford to buy games w/o struggling I find myself buying many games just to have it in my back log. My attention span has dropped dramatically and can only stay focused on instant gratification from killing other players in online FPS. Turning 39 this month and yes, I too feel the way you do.
