Anyone done a ICBC discovery zoom meeting..,who is usually all there?

If it’s already decided you are at fault then I don’t know why they need to examine you unless ICBC hasn’t admitted liability. If so, then their lawyer should really prepare you on that issue.

The two things you need to think about are, firstly, how much coverage you have (1 million, 2 million, etc.) and the extent of the plaintiff’s injuries. You really want to make sure your policy covers all of the claim so you won’t be personally liable for any amount above your policy limits.

The second thing is even more important- you want to make sure you didn’t do anything which would allow ICBC to deny you coverage. The two big ones there are drunk driving and if you were using your vehicle for a purpose you weren’t insured for (work) when you were only covered for pleasure use.

If you don’t have any of those concerns and don’t care that the accident was your fault, you’ve really got nothing to worry about in terms of preparation. Just tell the truth and you’re good.
