Anyone else absolutely LOVING NioH?

it seems to me from what i have read that a glaring problem seem to be repeating is that the game doesnt feel as polished as dark souls. first off, they dont state which specific aspects they feel are lacking polish. secondly, they automatically default to dark souls as a comparison since u basically have to if u want to have any sort of reference point to go by. from these two observations, i feel people are being turned off by the combat the most. they are playing this game that is basically identical to the progression system and rpg mechanics to the souls games, and along with that expecting the same feelings and events u come to expect to take place. then they keep being interrupted by something unfamilar, to the point where its quite jarring compared to everything else we have pointed out. the combat doesnt have the natural and grounded in realistic movements the souls games pride themselves on (animations have the illusion that energy isnt being created out of thin air). in fact its quite the opposite, movements are transitioned in a more traditional style hack and slash type of game that could be labeled as arcadey. its entirely subjective whether a person gets enjoyment out of these contrasting combat systems or not. but what im trying to get across is nioh could very well have as much depth and attention to detail the souls games have in that regard, and i plead to please keep this in mind when playing. and if u still dont like it, then thats jus another 60 dollars saved for another day. but to those that have their interest piqued as i do, we will keep an open mind to a game attempting to take what many of us love about from softwares creations and switching up the formula in a worthwhile way
