Is anyone else deathly afraid of the fact that their SO won’t have a career once they get here?

My SO and I are simply ld to work on our careers and our skills. I got my teaching degree in my country and got it qualified in the UK, so I also have my QTS in case our main plan doesn't work out. My SO has been working on adding skills and experience to his porfolio and is now trying to get his German up to a B2 level to land a job he wants.

Live is expensive in both our countries and since we're already in our late 20s and I have endo, we really don't want to gamble. Yes, we could even start a family now on one salary, but with another recessiob coming etc, we want to be as prepared as possible.

Has your SO the chance to go to school in his home country for cheaper?
