I know it's a late reply but I had a dream last night where I was a man with a beard and I had a wife and 2 kids and everything really natural, I didn't question it even though I have no kids. I was living next to hills in a fairly small house. And I saw a map that was at the end of some land surrounded by sea. All of a sudden this volcano erupts and there is a huge tsunami that washes me and the kids away and after it was all over I lost my wife, then I somehow transformed back into myself and carried on with another dream. Reading your comment wanted me to look into reincarnation and what if what we experienced was a past life. I'm in no means a skeptic with this stuff and don't believe in afterlife but I looked for tsunamis caused by Volcanic eruptions and found the Unzen eruption/tsunami in 1792 with the exact same landscape on Google maps as I saw on the map in my dreams. I didn't know this place even existed before. Its freaky to think about
