Yea people do work on holidays both in the US and outside of it... That's what he was saying. The guy he replied to said "everyone I know has Monday off" which is kind of a shortsighted thing to say when there are literal armies of people working to ensure our power stays on, we can seek medical attention if needed, and get a mcdouble™ on our day off.
