Me: “We aren’t getting breaks in the OR, especially the scrubs.” Them: “We don’t have the proper amount of gowns. They just can’t break scrub. It’s a patient safety issue.” Me: “We are human you know. We need breaks.”

Their buzz word is “patient safety.” After I started calling not having working OR lights, phones, and bad trays a patient safety issue, they didn’t like that. I was in a meeting with the OR boss and someone above her. I was outside protesting with signs, telling everyone to organize, and so on. The same day, by the end of the day, I was paid out and no longer an employee. They know I’m right, and they are trying to shut me up.
