Anyone else just see Garrett at the World Series with Brad Paisley?

I think this is really frustrating despite the "it's the bye week, let the man live" sentiment because of the state of the team right now. We're sub.-500, multiple games back in the division at roughly the midpoint of the year. We gave up next year's first round draft pick in a trade for a new #1 less than a week ago. Do those within the organization actually expect Garrett to work on designing new plays and route concepts with the season in the balance? How involved is he in week to week game plans? How much time does he actually spend honing the nuances of his craft, learning and teaching positional techniques and the like? It just feels like he's paid to spout cliches and cheer guys, and has managed to delegate everything else and deflect all criticism to his subordinates, time and time again.

I just don't see any sense of urgency from this man, in any way in which he goes about his business. I don't see a Belichick or McVay type of work ethic. It's like he knows his life is made. And with 8 figures in net worth making $6 million annually, he's right.

This probably all sounds like what was said when Romo went to Cabo, but let's have some perspective. Romo was in his second year as the starter, 27 years old, and freely admits now that he made a mistake. Garrett is 52, in his 12th consecutive season with the franchise, and has never admitted to making a mistake about anything. To me, he emanates contentment.
