Anyone else have a newfound appreciation for hybrid/multi-coverage characters in light of the KH collab?

It's nice, QoL stuff and all, but also slowly destroys the game.

They had the habits of focusing on few characters, giving them all the toys, and leaving the rest behind or straight up dead, but it also let everyone know what they should aim at (while also having side grade techs which can work out). Now, on the contrary it feels like they'll open up the possibilities (at this rate, every character will get an AASB) a bit too much, which will undermine the principles of techs and specialists, rendering the game stale with the "I got my S+ team for everything in the game" mindset (might be fun for some, but wears off for others).

I mean, since the AASB are now introduced, how many of you really are gonna pull on a banner without an AASB when you know that an off-realm or off-element character can do the work better than a specialist previously focused on a non AASB banner ? Other than the lack of healer techs (like I have, D:), there's little to no reason to (other than wifu/hunsbando, if it's your thing).

People are saying "they just let people get prepared for the next tier of content", but to me it sounds more like "this might be the actual end of the game, they're streamlining (Note: some will say "they babymode the game") everything while limiting their design space, an attempt at making people happy to clear things while cashing out what they can".

You might disagree, only time will tell.
