Anyone else’s store basically get told we can’t refuse to help someone who doesn’t wear a mask anymore?

The policy says you should let them in ‘if they state they are unable to wear a mask.’ It also still says you should first try to redirect the customer to curbside or an alternate solution.

It DOES NOT say (on the update or the full policy) that you should let them in if they just don’t want to wear one. The update is assuming that the customer claimed they are unable to wear one - it does not provide accommodation for people who just don’t want to.

Furthermore the definition of helping the customer is still going to vary by store. Safer stores are still not providing them assistance on the floor, but they can self shop and check out at the front where a barrier is separating them.
