Anyone else tired of the 9-5 corporate rat race?

Work is a big pot of lots of factors, you need to keep job searching until those things line up. I hate the grind, but I dint mind going to work. I know the day will be alright and the money will go towards my goals.

I worked medical transcription, boring as fuck. Hated being there, never enough to do, crappy co-workers, no parking. I thought that's what a job was like and I get why people hate to work.

After 2.5 years I wanted more money so switched to being an Immigration assistant at a law firm. Nice people, good perks, big workplace, more money, and the job isn't boring. It has boring bits, but I go home knowing I achieved something.

I used to hate being part of the rat race until I realized there isn't another option. I don't know what I do without a job. I couldn't travel, or pay for my hobbies... pay rent and eat food. If put my money into index funds so maybe one day I can live off interest and my pension. Life is short, it'll pass you by if you just wish for the weekends. May as well try different things to make it not as awful as it could be.
