I’m not on social media like that so have no idea what’s going on anymore with people I used to work with, distant relatives, old friends, pseudo-friends, and so on. I just don’t care enough to know what’s going on in their life and I’m absolutely positive they don’t give a shit what is or isn’t going on in my life.

It’s understandable to get annoyed by it, but the great thing about social media is that we can log out of it and not pay attention to it. There is no such thing as having to be on these social media platforms especially if you aren’t getting anything positive from it. If I want to keep in touch with people I write letters, email or call/text them and if they care they will keep it going. If not than that’s fine just one less person in my life.
