Is anyone else unable to start live chat with ps vue support?

Foxx: Hello, My name is Foxx, how may I assist you today? Me: OMG yes I'm on chat! Hi! Me: I have a serious issue. I have been unable to access chat for days and I don't have cell service Me: My ID is blocked. When I fill in the chat form, when I type in my ID and click submit I instanly get a page saying unable to process your request Me: It is just my ID. To get on yesterday I had to make a 2nd account which now also can't get on. The only way I could get on today was by typing in a random id to connect. My real details are EMAIL and ID Me: hi, are you still there? Foxx: Okay, what seems to be the issue you are having today? Me: The issue is I can't connect to chat if I use my real ID, which is very worrying! I think I know whya dn was wondering if you could help. I received a message on my ps4, listing lots of variations on my PSN ID. I immediately set my visibility settings to freinds only but I'm worried they may be making chat requests in my name. Could this be the case? I know they don't have my password, just my ID, as I can still log on and have security questions set. Vue cut out for 2 hours today and I would like access to chat restored in case this happens again. Thanks Me: *why and was Me: In fact I think it must be the case, as I just got on by using my real email but a random ID I thought of (Obamacare) Me: so they must be typing in whatever email they like and then my id and overloading chat, thus locking me out Foxx: I'm not sure as to why you wouldn't be able to, I was able to find the account and nothing seems to be wrong with it on our end. Me: I think whoever sent that message on my ps4 with variations of my ID must be overloading chat with requests. As is said I was able to get on just now with a random ID so it's possible. Is there a way to stop those people doing it? Foxx: If they are using your email to chat in with, there's no way to stop it unless you change the email on the account so they don't know it Me: I managed to get on chat a few days ago and asked this question,a nd the agent said 'lots of requests' were coming from my account. I didn't think anything of it until I got that message earlier today Me: No, they're not using my email, just my ID. As I said, my ID gives an error when I use it in chat. I just managed to get on to speak with you by filling in my email address (xxxxx) but then entering Obamacare as the ID, so even if the email is not tied to te account people can still start chat with your ID Me: I think that's really unsafe Me: If you want try it from your end and you'll see what I mean. Start a chat request and fill in your email address for the email and sign-in ID fields, but for the PSN ID enter a random one, and I bet you'll start a chat session successfully Me: it doesn't matter what email you use Foxx: Unfortunately I can not do that on my end. However also, there is no way to stop other people from chatting in with your online ID. Foxx: If you're having issues chatting in with your online ID, you can also always call. Me: I know, but I am now locked out through no fault of my own. I'd love to call, but I have no cell service where I live Me: concrete walls block signal Me: Is there no way at all to stop people starting chats using my ID? I feel very uncomfortable knowing other people can do that without the proper email address Foxx: Unfortunately there is no way. If you're having issues chatting in with your specific online ID, you can always chat in with another online ID and just make sure the agent you speak to knows of your actual account. Me: ok cool.
