Is anyone else uneasy with the expression, "living your truth?"

I would like to share that i have also heard this from a "Becky". She followed it by saying shes an advocate.

I said, "Oh thats great, what have you petitioned? Have you actively pursued fair treatment for a trans person who struggles to access treatment or safe housing? Have you advocated for them when "benevolent" government funded organisations leave them stranded? What protests have you attended and what was the main issue being publically contested? Do you know any established and influential advocates in your network that you can introduce me to? I would really like to know more, because im by myself and would like to be potentially useful in practical terms, especially if theres an educational conference available."

Bang bang bang one after the other, no breaths.

That was it, no further virtue signalling. Eventually she just said that she meant to say that she stands up for trans people in casual conversation at house parties.

Sorry for derailing - shit just makes me mad.
