Your risk is statistically insignificant. Assuming this guy doesn't have sex with men regularly, he's very unlikely to have HIV. Let's very, very conservatively say there's a 2 percent chance. It's also safe to assume that if he has it, he might know and be hiding it but be on medication and unable to infect anyone -- let's say there's about a 50 percent chance that if he has HIV, he is on medication and can't give it to you. finally, assuming he does have HIV and isn't on medication, the odds of transmission via vaginal intercourse are about 0.1%. Since he didn't ejaculate inside you those odds are actually much lower -- again, let's very conservatively say it cuts them by 75%, although in reality it actually reduces the odds much further than that. So it's about a 0.025% chance if he is infected and able to infect you, and there's about a 1% chance of that. We're now left with a 0.00025% chance you've been infected, and again, this is a very conservative estimate, which is about 1 in 4,000 without PEP. You're going to be fine.
