Has anyone ever gotten a raise here based on performance?

I stopped caring about 'performance reviews' in my company cause it looks like they're simply using it to keep us from getting anything. So just last week I had a call with my Technical Architect/Manager in my team(my team just has 4 people including my manager, + 2 overseas contractors) regarding the half yearly review, he ranked me 'strong and consistent' and said I do exactly what's expected of the company BUT I need to do more. Lol. So don't the job you're supposed to do isn't enough apparently.

And 2 years ago a previous manager tried to get me fired under false pretenses of bad performance reviews. It didn't work out for him. And he kinda tarnished my images in the company which is also impacting me clearly. 2 and half years in i've been working without any raise.
